As the dust finally settles from our unexpected crisis with Ann’s death, it seems a good time to once again thank Diana for what she did for us. She stepped into a situation that was unfamiliar and where she was suddenly asked — by people far away with whom you’d had no prior contact — to take on the incredibly demanding job of overseeing first a major illness and then a death. She handled it with resourcefulness and grace and caring. It was more than a job superbly performed — it was an act of reaching out with her spirit. We remain incredibly grateful.

Diana Amaya helped my mother in a very difficult mental state in San Miguel. Not only could I not be there physically because of the Covid 19 situation, she did everything only a family member would do. Diana was the bloodline for my mother and me when I was unable to be there to make difficult decisions, she was most helpful with all the language barriers I could not perform and she bent over backwards to do everything in her power to help. We have all had a time when we have thought, “what would I do if I fall and break a leg, or if I fall ill and am incapacitated for a period of time. Who would look after me? Family is too far away and I would not impose on my friends. What would I do? “ Well that question became a reality for me a week ago when I fell on the street, was lifted up by some passers-by and found I could not put any weight on my right leg. I took an ambulance to the hospital for xrays and thankfully I was told nothing was broken and that I could go home. But I couldnt walk! Fortunately a neighbor had told me about HOME LIFE CARE.
